How the Subaru VIP Military Program Works
At McDaniels Subaru of Columbia, eligible service members should verify their eligibility through ID.me or request authorization through the Military Program Request Form online or by contacting our dealership. Once we verify your eligibility, we will apply your discount after you've negotiated the best price and applied all other discounts and specials. As a thank you for your service, you will receive an exclusive $500 cash bonus on the sale or lease of a new Subaru. Eligible members can use the cash bonus up to two times per calendar year on separate transactions.
Who Is Eligible?
U.S. service members, veterans, retirees, and their spouses are eligible for the Subaru VIP Military Program:
Active duty members
or reservists in the U.S. military including the Army, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and National Guard
Retired military members
entitled to retirement or retainer pay
Veterans
who were honorably discharged and within 24 months of their separation date
Spouses of eligible members
who live within the same household
