Here are a few common questions that come up during our Love-Encore appointments:
It is. Your Subaru may be unique in that it uses this system to better regulate your fuel efficiency. But we recognize it may not be a good fit for every driver. If you want to disable it, you'll need to do so every time you enter the vehicle. There is a button with the symbol "A" wrapped in a circular arrow on the left-hand panel or perhaps on the left of the screen display.
We understand how this can be frustrating. Fortunately, the fix is not complicated. Hold the rear gate button for a full second, and you should see the results.
It's an indication that the water or fluid in the engine bay is too cold for normal engine operation. In this case, it is a good idea to wait until your engine reaches an optimal temperature.
